June 8, 2023:

On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, Sanford Strenger, Partner of the firm Salamon Gruber Blaymore & Strenger, P.C., was installed as the 121st President of the Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) by the Honorable Denise Sher of Nassau County Supreme Court. President Strenger was installed alongside the following NCBA Officers: Daniel W. Russo, President-Elect; James P. Joseph, Vice President; Hon. Maxine S. Broderick, Treasurer; and Samuel J. Ferrara, Secretary.

Among the evening’s special guests included Nassau County Administrative Judge Hon. Vito M. DeStefano, who was invited to install the new officers of the NCBA Board of Directors and Nassau Academy of Law.

As President of the NCBA, Mr. Strenger’s goals will center around the theme of “A Year of Member Engagement.” Mr. Strenger plans to place a focus on expanding opportunities for members to market their skills to fellow members and others through the addition of new networking opportunities throughout the bar year and to support the accessibility of justice efforts and pro bono services to our veterans.

“It is my view that a bar association is charged with the primary mission of enhancing its members’ practice of law and their lives, through education, access to decision-makers, networking, and social opportunities. To fully achieve its mission, it is also charged with acting to enhance the communities where its members live by providing opportunities for its members to give back to their community,” said Mr. Strenger.

President Strenger routinely litigates complex real estate, commercial, corporate, health care, and environmental matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies from inception through trial and appellate practice and counsels’ clients on commercial, real estate and health care transactions.
